Oregon Trip April 2009

In April we stayed at the Worldmark Resorts in Seaside and Depoe Bay. It turned out that we found bonus time for the Walkers and Mom and Dad Marks too, so we had a nice little group there. We stayed in Seaside for 2 nights and Depoe Bay for 3. Depoe Bay is definitely our favorite as far as the view from the rooms. You are right on the ocean cliffs and it is amazing! Here are some pictures from our trip. I'm not sure what order they will appear in...never know with blogger. :)

Nothing Better Than a New Hat!

A couple weeks ago, we found this hat for Evan. He loves it! Notice how in all these pictures he has his hands full - helicopter, bus and Ron (white bear). This is pretty normal. Evan does not like to go without something in his hands.

Easter Pix and Video

We weren't brave enough to do Easter eggs this year, which I am regretting now, of course! Why are we so scared of messes!?!?!? Next year for sure. Evan did have fun going through his basket. He LOVED the bubble blower and the candy of course. He wasn't sure what to think when he first woke up, but he figured it out pretty fast.

Potty Train

Evan has started potty training. Evan doesn't mind it a bit and I'm sure that if we would be more conscientious about getting him to the potty and reminding him, he would probably be done by now. These are pictures from his first time on the potty, first time in pull ups and first time in big boy undies. I just couldn't resist the bare bum picture...I think it's the long sleeve shirt and socks. :)

Evan loves this book. We read it for quite awhile before he ever sat on the potty, and I think it helped.

Nothing better than reading in your undies...

This is right after we put these on for the first time. I think he was a little nervous, so he was trying to hide. He got over that quickly.

This is a digital scrapbook page I made. Cute huh?

Pawn Duh...

Evan was really sick in March and did something for the first time ever, he watched a whole movie. :) He loves Kung Fu Panda and I lost count of how many times he watched it, but I didn't care because it kept him still. These pictures are of the first time he watched it. I took about a million pictures before he even looked at me, he was so engrossed!
